From Our Nets to Your Table

From Net to Table

LakeTroutSesame
We sell lake trout and lake whitefish caught with care and respect from some of the nation’s cleanest waters.

The lake trout and lake whitefish fillets we sell are gillnetted, the way many salmon are harvested from the Pacific Ocean. The nets are carefully placed to reduce by-catch. Immediately after the fish are removed from the nets, they are placed on ice and transported to our state-of-the-art processing facility.

LakeTrout&Whitefish
At the processing facility, the fresh-caught fish are filleted and flash frozen, then shipped to retailers throughout the Pacific Northwest.

The current program employs eight tribal members to conduct gillnetting and up to 10 for fish processing.
